Hi-Tec’s management team has over 125 years of combined facilities management experience and we currently have a work force of over 500 employees with significant experience in janitorial care.

Hi-Tec’s strong support network is based out of our corporate office in Jenison, MI and is made up of long-term employees who support our field operations, managers, site supervisors, team leaders and cleaners throughout the State of Michigan.

Training & Continuous Improvement

Training is an essential key to our success and is a focal point of our business foundation. Hi-Tec’s commitment to continuous improvement enhances our services, lowers employee turnover and reduces costs for our clients. Our employees participate in substantial on-site, one-on-one training before they begin their role at a client location.

 

 

Hi-Tec’s janitorial care training program includes:

  • Orientation to company systems and guidelines
  • Personal protective equipment usage and fit
  • Safety training
  • OSHA regulations
  • Blood-Borne Pathogens/Hepatitis B
  • Green cleaning
  • Janitorial cleaning procedures
  • Specialized floor care
  • Site specific job requirements
  • Dress Code / Code Of Conduct

 



 

Training is conducted to meet the specific needs of each client facility including:

  • Customized services plan
  • Site security requirements
  • Communication procedures with client staff
  • Monthly training sessions for each on-site supervisor focusing on continuous improvement and best practices
  • Monthly training sessions for janitorial staff focusing on best practice implementation


In addition, a customized training video is created for the site supervisors and janitorial staff. This training video is viewed at the time an employee is assigned to a client site and periodically throughout the year to reinforce the client’s customized services plan.
